SPRINGFIELD by ARTHUR RUSSELL

Great 7 track CD, very much in the vein of the labels first release 'Calling out of context'.'Springfield' was one of his last compositions that he meant to collaborate on with someone else, but never happened. Now though, DFA took the task of remixing the track with no overdubs and just minimal keyboards added. The remaining tracks are taken from the never before released 'Corn' album (referring to his birth state Iowa) from 1985 including the first version from 'Let's go swimming' that became a classic in a different mix later on. One track more then the vinyl: 'hiding your present from you'. Tip!
