Description

Los Auténticos are a 6-piece 'trovadores' group from Havana, Cuba with a 12 track debut on Ghetto Lounge Recordings.Los Auténticos project started in December 2007 when multi instrumentalist/singer El Abuelo and bongo player Koichi met on the street of central Havana. They immediately got together to play and El Abuelo brought amazing maracas player/singer Reinaldo and his brother guitarist Alberto to form the new band “Los Auténticos”. Purely acoustic, soulful, passionate and nostalgic music referred to as “trovadores” (traditional singer/songwriter) playing authentic Cuban melody and rhythm and singing about simple life style, love, joy and sadness.
