LIVE CONVENTION '77-79' by V/A

'Live Convention '77-79' is a prequel to the Live Convention 81 and 82 mixtapes. This mix here features raps, taken from various different live recordings of performances in the late seventies. The vocals from those tapes were cleaned up (as the original tapes did not sound very good) and the original breaks were placed underneath the vocals again to get the best possible soundquality. This mix here sounds much like a 1980's prototype of today's mixtapes, with samples taken from movies like the Disco Godfather and Raging Bull. The CD comes in a luxurious 7" package!
