KILIO CHA HAKI, A CRY FOR JUSTICE by V/A

This CD is the result of a project, set up by a dutch organization called 'Uptoyoutoo'. They had people from Pipslab (a Rednose Distrikt connected artist collective) go over to Kenya accompanied by beats ( supplied by RND ) and equipment. There they recorded the material that this CD is made out of, featuring about 25 rappers from the slums of Nairobi. The idea is that with the money, earned with this CD a studio will be built in Nairobi so that the hiphop ( and more..) scene over there can record their own compositions. Everybody involved worked on this project for free, to keep costs as low as possible, 1ce again the raisings from this project go to Kenya, Support!!
