Description

MATIK is an energetic 5 piece band from Amsterdam. In their songs, MATIK explores all corners of punk/dance/electro/alternative and with their enthousiastic live performances they stormed almost every stage in the Netherlands for the pas year.Their track Dance It Off could already been heard of in the Heineken Cloning commercial, and it was already ‘single of the week’ on the Nr 1 alternative radiostation 3FM – 3voor12, Holland. Besides the original, you will find remixes by Laidback Luke, electro legend, Arthur Baker and Dean Coleman. Dean is also known for his work with Justing Timberlake. The single ‘Dance it off’ Will be available through BlackLabel Records, distributed by Rushhour/Bertus. MATIK is also working on their debut album, scheduled to be released around may 2008.
