Wow! This is so dope! Where to start? James Pants put us onto this (thanks James!). This is the project of Dave Soldier. He was teaching music on the Amber Charter school in NY. He teached this group of 5-10 years old kids to program drum machines, record keyboard parts and improvise on vocals. Then he had the class divided into groups who then wrote their own hiphop songs and played the music to go with it. Dave Soldier coached the youngsters, and edited and mixed the results, leading to the 16 tracks on this CD (with cover art by the school children) . Check this out!
