Irma Records, in collaboration with Mantra Vibes, put out this retrospective on the legendary Bologna based label Italian Records. The music style of the seminal Italian label could be described as 'new wave meets disco'. Acts like Gaznevada, Confusional Quartet, Stupid Set, N.O.I.A. and Kirlian Camera, during the period 1978-1982 generated the phenomenon known today as Italo. On this Double CD you will find the original tracks along numerous re-edits and remixes by dj's and/or producers that are popular today and have been inspired by that sound: Morgan Geist, Lindstrom & Prinz Thomas, radio Slave,Munk, Fabrizio Mammarella and more!
