Inside look at what Grusane was doing in his earlier years as a DJ/Record Dealer in Chicago in 1998, the earlier era of collecting what many call rare or unplayed disco grooves. Limited to 200 signed copies !At the time of this recording, Mark was 23years of Age, and had just gained residency at a private loft called The Boxcar. It was being both Resident DJ and Sound Engineer for the Loft that made this first combination of sorts, a special experience for him. Adding, the location was the same legendary space previously called The Reactor (Original).. This space was legendary in spawning many House Dj’s from the Chicago area into legendary status and life long careers. The reactor was owned by Fred Riley (A member of the iconic House group known as Z-Factor). This is when Mark steps into “Bigger Shoes” then per-say, as he fills us in on what was happening with this loft location, and his real start of going through the ranks of the competitive DJ culture in Chicago. This mix is from a night inside the Boxcar Private Loft party in 1998. This mix is Intense, Obscure, and with Grusane’s added traditional accents. This 80min/23 Song Non-Stop mix was restored from stereo cassette tape and transferred to CD. The audio still has it’s Analog flavor. This release includes front and back full color inserts, 1 full page of informative liner notes, and 1 CD. Both, CD and Liner Notes have been personally signed by Mark Grusane.
