Beat Drunx is a project, set up by producer One Cell and MC Rubski, and later MC Acrid Cast (Outspoken Members, Propaganda-tour) & DJ Court-A-Sock (DJ Grazzhoppa's Bigband) as well. They already knew each other for a while and decided to do an album together that, soundwise, would be totally different from what they heard around them. As a funk drummer, One Cell has a broad musical spectrum that can be traced back into his productions: dusty breaks, taken from jazz, funk and even rock records sometimes. Trademark tracks that feature him are One Cell's Garage en Do The Drunken Jive for example. MC's Rubski & Acrid Cast are two wellknown belgian MC’s that have worked with the likes of Kev Brown, InfinitSkills, AME etc. On this album, they add their trademark flow to the laid out instrumentation with ingenious wordplay and peculiar choice of themes ( check the tracks "Girl On The Buzz" and “Legend of Drunken Master" for example). DJ Court-A-Sock finalizes the whole thing with his scratch techniques and steals the show on the "Stomp Station" track!
