African percussion tracks by Solomon Ilori and his Afro Drum Ensemble! All fairly straight African tracks, with heavy percussion, and touches of highlife grooves. The last three tracks were not on the album when it came out and are previously unreleased (although track 7 and 8 were released not so long ago on 12" through Honest Jons) and these cuts feature musicians like Donald Byrd, Hubert Laws and Elvin Jones.
