Description

The Sweet Talks started out as a highlife band in Ghana known as ‘El Dorados,’ later to change their name to ‘Medican Lantcis’ before settling on ‘The Sweet Talks.’ The legendary Afro-pop group released a string of great records during the 70s, with The Kusum Beat as their most popular beyond the dark-continent.However, in its homeland, The Kusum Beat was vastly underappreciated. Adjoa, is in essence a reissue of The Kusum Beat. However, in an effort to reintroduce the record to the Ghanaian people, it has been given a new title and includes 3 bonus tracks not included in the original version of Kusum Beat.
