Funky concept album exploring connection in all its forms — from inner dialogue and stepping out of your bubble to colliding worlds and unexpected unity.

Moving between funk, disco, nu-soul and rare grooves, Meeting Point blends warm analog instruments with subtle electronic touches and plenty of space for improvisation. Deep grooves, soulful songwriting and a live, organic feel throughout.

Press Rec & Play is the project of Amsterdam-based artist Oskar Maarleveld, who wrote, composed and produced all the tracks and created the striking artwork for the album.
