Body, the debut mixtape by The Alaia is a smooth g-funk and hard gangsta rap selection mostly from cassettes and CD's. While most tracks familiar to the g-funk sound came from up and down the Cali coast, the midwest, east coast, south, and pacific northwest come correct too. The Smoov side is trips to the local liquor store to pregame for house parties, cruisin in Eldorados, reminiscing about youth in the streets, and flows dedicated to the opposite sex, while the Ruff side is reppin' hoods, tales of inevitable young gang life, and creepin' at night.
