Description

12' compilation featuring four more sunkissed obscurities unearthed, including three must-have floor filling cover versions !First up is 'Don't Stop The Music' by Bits & Pieces, a superb Sly & Robbie produced disco reggae take on the Yarbrough & Peoples classic that found favour at the Paradise Garage as well as on the dancefloors of Ibiza. Next up is the equally brilliant and in-demand Staple Singers' interpretation of The Talking Heads' 'Slippery People', a sure fire party starter. The flipside sees Eric's Friends turn in a Italo disco rework of Clapton's rock classic 'Cocaine', a hard to find gem from 1983 which is a big favourite of DJ Harvey and Daniel Wang. Rounding off the EP is Brian Briggs' Loft / Balearic classic 'AEO',combining African-style chants, beautiful synth riffs and artificial bird calls to create a stunning dreamy soundscape that deserves all its accolades
