Steven Julien DJ-Kicks Release In-Store
To celebrate the release of his DJ-Kicks project, DJ and producer Steven Julien drops by the Rush Hour store on Friday 22nd November for a DJ set that will showcase records which inspired his contribution to the iconic mix series.
The tracklist for his 'DJ-Kicks' progresses from day into night, encompassing all that we love over here at Rush Hour. Moving through 80's boogie by The RAH Band, some of the finest contempary prodcuers like Hudson Mohawke and Chaos In The CBD alongside legends Ryuichi Sakamoto, DāM-FunK and Todd Edwards. A fabulously eclectic mix that includes new productions alongside two tracks of his own, one of which 'Number' (preview above) a relentless jacking house track that premiered recently!
Swing by the RH store on 22nd November from 5-7pm, where we will have the double LP available for purchase whilst Julien tests out the record and perhaps some of his favourite cuts that nearly made it onto the project over our beautiful Klipsch soundsystem.
