Here are some of the highlights of this week.

Up first is the tough new album by Mutant Beat Dance (Traxx, Beau Wanzer and Steve Summers), a raw and dark triple album of heavy psychedelic wave-not-wave, gnarly post-EBM and acidified nastiness on the Nation imprint. This is flying out, so we kindly suggest you act quick. One per customer, 500 copies, no repress.
Rush Hour affiliate Jordan GCZ lands on fellow Rush Hour affiliate Terrence Dixon’s Minimal Detroit with the fantastic ‘My Brain’s Brain’, an otherworldly exploration of deep space and beyond - premium material from start to finish!
Also out this week: ‘On In Out’, a beautiful four LP boxed compilation of exclusive new music curated by Berlin music scene veteran Miho Mepo, who relocated to Japan recently to form the Advanced Public Listening imprint. This stellar selection includes wonderful new work by a wide array of seasoned electronic music heavyweights including Thomas Fehlmann, Matthew Herbert, Move D, Mixmaster Morris and Ricardo Villalobos.
Make sure to check out ‘Lèsprit Ka: New Directions in Gwoka Music from Guadeloupe 1981-2010’, a lovely compilation exploring the crossroads of traditional Gwo Ka sounds (the French Creole term for ‘big drum’) and modern pop, synth, jazz and vocal styles.
Special attention for the second record on Mafalda’s Tropic of Love, a joyous 17-piece (!) four track live disco EP set up by close friends Nostalgia 77 aka Benedic Lamdin and DrumTalk aka Nathaniel Pearn. It’s bad to the bone!
Detroit house don Kyle Hall is back with the hot new ‘Phi’ EP, the fifth installment on his flawless Forget The Clock imprint. Sweet and warm-blooded house music for heads in the know.
‘Raoul’ is the debut full-length album by Martin Blomberg, the Malmö dweller who hides behind the moniker Inre Kretsen Grupp (‘Inner Circle Group’), coming up with a set of free-flowing yet well-constructed synth explorations.
The ever reliable Dez/Andres is back with another double A-sider consisting of a sweet vocal Detroit electro banger and a George Benson-sampling floorwarmer. Great stuff!
Dutch revelation Yin-Yin present their dazzling sophomore album of discofied dancefloor stuff, danceable deep funk and cinematic soundscapes. Check!
Last but most certainly not least is Joe Claussell’s latest, a three-track extended EP of exquisite Claussellian niceness.
