RUSH HOUR SHOP TOP TIP

.
Here are some of the highlights of what we have in store for you this week.

Up first is Soichi Terada’s new album ‘Asakusa Light’ for Rush Hour, Soichi’s first new house album in over 25 years. And what an album it is! Needless to say we’re really really proud of this one.

Next up is another project that’s very dear to our hearts - a double A-sider from the vaults of Danny Arno and UK house and techno pioneer Leslie Lawrence (Bang the Party/KCL Project) that was originally released as part of the legendary Jack Trax series in 1989, now available in full twelve inch splendor for the very first time.

We’re also very excited to present the amazing ‘Tamanquiro’ by Elizio de Buzios, a tough to find funky Brazilian nugget that’s now available for all on our sister label New Dawn.

Make sure to check out ‘Open The Gates’ by Philadelphia-based free jazz collective Irreversible Entanglements on International Anthem that features Moor Mother, Aquiles Navarro and Tcheser Holmes.
Rush Hour store favorite Delroy Edwards is back on L.A. Club Resource with eight certified original house bombs and a clear message: Change the world, bring the house.

22-year old Tom Carruthers takes on nineties UK bleep house- and techno with a blinding double pack filled with heavy sample-based MPC-productions for L.I.E.S. Great stuff.

Alleviated alert! Larry Heard and Dovie Cote hook up on a smooth 4 track EP that has Mr. Fingers’ prints all over it.

Robert Bergman drops another pocket size edition of the Brew white label series that sounds big enough for your weird uncle's wedding, but is also perfect to play at other mutant gatherings.

Another big one this week is ‘Ritmo Fantasía’, an incredible 21-track compilation of 80s and early 90s Spanish electronica, compiled by Venezuelan DJ and collector Trujillo.

Last but certainly not least is Ehi Duncan’s Benin banger ‘Africa (My Number One)’ on the newly formed Canopy Records out of New Zealand.
