Here are just some of the highlights of what we have in store for you this week.

The exceptionally gifted Lars Bartkuhn debuts on Rush Hour with the excellent double A-sider Transcend’/‘Every Morning I Meditate’. ‘Transcend’ is a wonderfully deep dancefloor floater centered around a brilliantly conceived electric piano theme that’s impossible to get out of your head, while ‘Every Morning I Meditate’ reaches into the depths of ambient house - a deep and dreamy Balearic-tinged sunrise workout destined to take you to higher plains.

Steve Pickton (Stasis) takes us back to the golden era of UK techno with the stunning first volume of the ‘Rare & Unreleased’ series, a glimmering journey through the depths of his impressive repertoire presenting both classic material and uncovering gems that were never released before, including the acid-flavoured 1992 techno classic ‘Artifax’.

This week’s number three is artist and illustrator Gangster Doodles’ second volume of Gangster Music for All City. If you know you know.

Rush Hour store mattie Aroy Dee is back with the first solo EP for his M>O>S imprint in years, presenting four emotive, atmospheric deep house groovers.

Check out Lucky Mereki’s fabulous 'You Got Me Dancing', that was originally released on Accord Music back in 1991. A sweet slab of sensitive and infectious South-African proto-house.

You’ll Never Get to Heaven return with their fourth release, this time finding a home in Seance Centre. ‘Wave Your Moonlight Hat for the Snowfall Train’ is a beautiful hazey analogue lo-fi tape sound stunner.

We’ve been waiting patiently for Jeff Parker’s ‘Forfolks’, a new album of solo guitar works that includes beautiful interpretations of Thelonious Monk’s ‘Ugly Beauty’ and the standard ‘My Ideal’, plus six original compositions and four totally new loop-driven, stratiform works that marry melodic improvisation with electronic textures.

Local heroes De Lichting present a new four track EP by Eversines, expertly walking the crossroads between acid, techno and trance. Big tip!

Nous'klaer and The Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision's RE:VIVE team up for a split 12" once again, this time presenting new work by Mattheis and Ranie Ribeiro.

Last but certainly not least is ‘Tokyo Glow’, a cool selection of 80s Japanese funk and boogie from the infamous Nippon Columbia vaults, selected by DJ Notoya. Lovely stuff throughout.
