Here are some of the highlights of what we have in store for you this week.


Kicking it off with this stellar doublepack of sparse, jazz-fused Theo Parrish classics - available again on his own Sound Signature imprint

Amsterdam local Wendel Sield delivers his second 12” with two acid tinged cuts to get under your skin, closing the record is ‘Ethic Of Reciprocity’; a warm, more laidback stringladden cut

No stopping Backatcha, the UK label responsible for some prime soul/funk reissue work - hitting our store with two hot 7”s this week. Two versions from the excellent dreamy  spacefunk  track ‘I can’t stop’ by Betty Lou Landreth and more on a boogie/disco tip, two catchy dancefloor tracks by the Circle City Band

More soulfulness comes from Chicago born, Tokyo based Ace Hashimoto whose smooth voice  is laid on top of a range of catchy productions on his debut album for Nothing But Net

Catchy definately is the word that comes to mind describing Arthur Verocai’s ‘Bis’ - this ‘ stunning slice of Seventies-style brazilan psychedelic soul’ from 2007 was made available again for this years RSD and now well available with us!

Jeff mills and the Zanza 21 deliver 3 uplifting tracks that remind us of Los Hermanos a bit and should def do well when playing out.

On a  different tip comes Gene Hunt - is there an end to this man’s archive ?? 4 unreleased tracks here, from the blue, string-led ‘In The Night’ to more basic, floor destroying rhythm tracks

Tone B Nimble closes drops the last edition in the  ‘Soul is my salvation’ 7” series with some proper uplifing Gospel gear
