.
Records that electrified us in week 19!

First up is the seriously good new Space Grapes twelve, another badass disco boogie funk affair from the boys. Get it while you can!

Up next is the smacking new Skee Mask album for Ilian Tape, a frantic breakbeat techno buzzer of the highest order.

Number three is ‘Every Brother Ain’t A Brother’, a hot 1982 Brooklyn hiphop boogie joint built around the bassline of Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five’s classic ‘The Message’.

Joe Claussell strikes again with a fantastic new hand-printed ten inch release featuring four wonderfully accomplished house groovers. Extremely limited stuff.

‘Gost’ is a new Into the Light compilation that brings together a collection of forgotten gems mainly taken from obscure Greek movies of the seventies and eighties. There’s a lot to discover here!

New on M>O>S: ‘Metropolitan’ by local hero Böhm, who serves up four slices of utterly timeless Chicago-inspired emo house.

On her first EP as Sweepsculp, Upsammy freely experiments with acoustic guitar and drums, but the results are unmistakenly Upsammy. Big tip!

Good Block follows up 2019’s ‘4 Corners’ with a new EP filled with Balearic goodness. 300 clear vinyl copies only, so don’t sleep!

Summer comes rolling in in the form of Shamis & Rebiere’s hot new ‘Rock It For Ya’, a contemporary boogie house joint on INI Movement/Wicked Wax.

Last but certainly not least on our weekly tip top ten is Kolida Babo’s ‘Spirits of Mauronoros’, a beautifully deep and dubby soothing Greek jazz seven on the Jazz45 imprint. Make sure to check it out.
