36 essential songs produced by Joseph Hoo-Kim at Channel One studio, with great photos and extensive linernotes by Dave Hendley, it features all re-mastered original recordings from some of reggae's foundation performers including Barrington Levy, Yellowman, Delroy Wilson, Dillinger, Clint Eastwood, The Mighty Diamonds, John Holt and others.There are two extended 12-Inch Single mixes, the Deejay Mix of "Truly" by The Jays & Ranking Trevor (this version of the Marcia Griffiths classic was also the first 12"-Single to be released in Jamaica in 1976) and the extended version of the Curtis Mayfield song "Queen Majesty" also performed by The Jays & Ranking Trevor!
