This year Detroit's DJ 3000 celebrates Motech Records 15th Anniversary.The 'Union EP' is aptly named to represent how much relationships mean to DJ 3000 and his label,and highlight what binds his Motech family it's not an aesthetic but a feeling, a commonality rooted in the like minded pursuit of diversified and excellent music. The eclectic nature of this four tracker confirms this. Techno isn't a particular drum sound or tempo, it's a futuristic endeavour. You've got to be an explorer, trailblazing in search of fresh forms. Gritty, raw, soulful, and ethereal are all words that can and should be associated with innovative Techno.
