OMBU by LL

Kevin Lukacs aka LL/DJ, is a native of M�lheim an der Ruhr, Germany. He's a regular DJ at D�sseldorf's infamous Salon Des Amateurs and operates as part of the Forum crew alongside Tim Schumacher & Volkan Simonic. He's also involved in the running of the newly launched Aiwo record label. An extremely accomplished and open minded selector his DJ sets take in a wide variety of obscure sounds including Reggae, Afro, House, Electronics & various Left-field meanderings. "Ombu" is his debut release under the LL/DJ moniker.After a particularly heavy DJ session with Themes From Great Cities' Jan Schulte & Rearview Radio in London Bushes head honcho Danny P was exposed to the otherworldly percussive force of "Ombu" - Unbelievably, this stellar slice of cosmic rhythm didn't have a home yet, leading Danny to track the mysterious LL/DJ down in order to schedule "Ombu" for the inaugural release on his newly minted Bushes imprint. After an appearance at Salon Des Amateurs and spending a few days with LL/DJ and his dog Roots, Danny was granted permission to release 3 different mixes of this killer piece. Bushes - A spontaneous London party operating from various darkened basements around the capital, favouring the most open minded of musical selections and guest DJ's including: LL/DJ, Diesel, Jonny Rock, DJ Fettburger, Tako, Gatto Fritto, Themes From Great Cities, Throwing Shade, 12th Isle, Kenny White, Brian Not Brian & many more. Now a record label too it's mission is to expand on the anything goes ethos of the physical parties themselves.
