Pete Rodriguez – I Like It Like That Band leader, arranger and pianist Pete Rodriguez' 'I Like It Like That' is a well know, all time classic taken from the 1966 LP 'I Like It Like That (A Mi Me Gusta Asi)’, also released on 7” in 1967, both on New York based Alegre Records, which was eventually sold to Fania Records. ‘I Like It Like That’ bizarrely ended up being used by Odeon Cinema’s in the UK as their pre-trailer branding track...! AA. Joe Bataan – Subway Joe ‘Subway Joe’ by Joe Bataan, a true Latin Soul classic, taken from the seminal album of the same name, released by Fania in 1968. Bataan was a very succesful pianist, singer and band leader born in New York.
