1 What Did He Get Us Into

Headspace is extremely proud to welcome one of our all-time musical heroes, Dan Curtin, on to our roster. Originally from Cleveland , Ohio , Dan came to the world's attention in the early 90s through a series of releases on Buzz and 33RPM/Sinewave and his own Metamorphic label which re-imagined the techno sound of Detroit with a unique twist of his own. Influenced by hip hop, electro and house as much as the Motor City, his productions were raw, funky, unpredictable and never stood still. As well as releasing a series of landmark albums on the UK's Peacefrog label The Silicon Dawn, Web Of Life and Art & Science Dan has gone on to release for countless techno and house labels, including Strictly Rhythm, Sublime, Paper, Nepenta, Down Low and Rush Hour. Now based in Berlin , he has recently revived his Metamorphic label and released acclaimed EPs for Tuning Spork and Starbaby during 2005. After Januari's sampler 12', Headspace releases the 12 track album 'We are the one's we've been waiting for'. From powerful floorburners to mellow, laidback grooves, this can be an album to listen to at home as well as get down to on a club's soundsystem.
