Description

Fulgeance’s third EP for Musique Large «Glamoure» fuses his main musical influences, from the analog sounds of synthesizer pioneers like Moroder to the heavy, minimal, electronic Hip-Hop bounce of Detroit. It’s playfully designed to keep heads grooving and backsides moving, with a tonic, erotic blend of heavy bassline bump, rich melodies and bad-ass beat stylings. What is Glamoure? A short skirt on the first day of summer, its seductive beauty and suggestive sensuality... far more sophisticated than simple sex appeal. His most «personal» work to date is the last stop before launching his full-length album (to be released on Musique Large). Fulgeance called up some of his favorite artists to round out the roster, complementing he original tracks with blazed-out eclectic remixes: Kelpe (DC Recordings/Black Acre) keeps the frequencies shuddering with his version of «Bien Rond» with help from microphone doctors 215TFK aka Cerebral Vortex & Buddy Leezle. Loaf Recordings’ GablÈ, a talented trio from Normandy, hit hard and heavy with an indy-folk re-working of «Rubiscube» while rising sons of the UK beat scene Huess (Inaudible Answer) wind it up finely, with the clap and stomp 8bit groove on their take of «I Luv U. Fulgeance is not only «the Petit Prince of beats» or the producer behind «Low Club EP», he has a heart of gold and a fetisch for 80’s nostalgia, and Glamoure EP is the ultimate proof.
