Choi is a Korean Berliner who is going to release on John Daly's Feel Music as Hunch and has a record coming out on Prins Thomas's Internasjional label as well. The tracks blending like Toddy Terry and Arthur Russell, on a Detroit house tip ... incredible record - huge tip!!A1 "rare silk" Super catchy vocals pepper a driving beat with deep kicks, sharp claps, detroit pads, and a nice smooth bassline. For some reason, it reminds WT of a modern Toddy Terry (circa bango), but we could be crazy. A2 "cut down trees" Like a minimal track without the minimal sounds, this tracks bubbles along with some crazy vocals and some very busy, very nice melodic percussion (if that is possible). B1 "tour de force" title track and secret b side, this was the first track to be selected for the release and is WT's favorite. Arthur Russell style freaked out jazzy keys and juno pitch bends end up taking a complete turn into a deep house groove with some serious fm synth pads. There are definitely some minor goose bumps right here.
