Son Of Sound aka Henry Maldonado has been a mainstay of the NYC house scene for the last 2 decades. Back in 1992 his first release came out on Strictly Rhythm and since then he's had a string of records on Henry Street, Emotive and Cutting. The tracks on his Tirk debut, the 'No Retribution EP' sound like edits, but we really couldn't confirm this.
