DOUBLE HELIX is producer Mr. Anderson and vocalist Mrs. Anderson, both living in Detroit USA. Fellow Detroiter Recloose turned on Rush Hour to DOUBLE HELIX. After seeing DOUBLE HELIX perform at the first Detroit Electronic Music Festival, Rush Hour decided to approach them to records something for the label. Apart from a contribution to the DEMF CD released on Planet E, this is their first release to date.

For the first DOUBLE HELIX on Rush Hour we chose 3 instrumental tracks ranging from (mid) tempo house to downtempo beats. On the A side we have D & A; an atmospheric, temping house track with a killer bassline that kicks in halfway through. On the flip two tracks; Low key is a lush, midtempo (around 115 BPM) house track, which also featured on the DEMF CD released on Planet E last year, now first time on vinyl. Nunix is a downtempo track, a true highlight it isa musical and soulful groove, which could easily be compared to downtempo material of Recloose. Rush Hour is proud to have this talent a board & this is just a taster of what is to come.
