LEATHERED EP by YSE SAINT LAUR'ANT

The high-grade house cuts continue to leak from Ant Plate's studio at an unstoppable rate, this time manifesting as his Yse Saint Laur'ant alias on the Vinyl Only label. The funk is looped up and low down nasty on "I'm Gonna Miss You," while "Persuasion" pings into a foggier head space without losing some of that dusty sample grit. "Dance, Dance, We Dare" is a more disco leaning affair that should sit right on a dancefloor warmed up for a good time. "Track 4" eases back for the run out, hitting a worldly note that could soundtrack a cruise across the open plains of the American deep south.
