We’re super excited to announce RH’s 20th anniversary. Marking this milestone with a tour, with stops in Europe, Japan, Australia and North America, starting at the Rainbow Disco Club festival in Tokyo’s countryside in May. The Amsterdam based institution reveal only the first events - more Europe, Australia and North America dates will be announced very soon.

Rush Hour’s tour starts with a stage on Rainbow Disco Club in the mountains of the Izu Peninsula, the beautiful landscape near the city of Tokyo and continues with stops at Troop cafe in Kobe and Robert Johnson in Frankfurt. The label hosts stages on Macki Music Festival in Paris, on Dimensions and the Strange Sounds From Beyond festival in hometown Amsterdam. The latter will be extra special, as the festival was founded to promote curious music especially. On this festival, none other than Wally Badarou, Daphni, DJ Okapi and Mutant Beat Dance (their live debut!) will complete the RH stage.

Rush Hour have been one of the city's prominent independent music retailers since 1997. The company was a result of a ‘hobby that got out of hand’, co-founder Antal mentions in an interview. The company has grown into a institution that represents underground music through events, the label and worldwide distribution. The reputation Rush Hour has built mainly comes from the fact that first and foremost Rush Hour focuses on music they totally believe in and have a love for. Throughout the years, the Rush Hour team hasn’t compromized, managed to maintain their activities for 20 years and is still going strong.
