FRICTIONALISM 1994-2009 REMIXES PT 2/2 by ANTHONY 'SHAKE' SHAKIR

MRSK + Skudge Remixes of techno pioneer, Shake Shakir!On the back of Shake's retrospective Frictionalism 1994-2009 compilation, we have asked some producers from the new generation who were influenced by Shake's music one way or another to remix his music. Since Shake's catalogue is such a diverse one, we looked different directions for remixers. After having remixes by Falty DL and Space Dimension Controller on Part 1, Part 2 continues with two of our favorite new generation techno producers, Skudge and MRSK. Skudge is known for their recent output on their self named label and MRSK caused a stir with their debut 12” on Rush Hour earlier this year. Both producers have a forward, gritty yet funky production style and both do not disappoint with their remixes. Great package again!
