Release Sheet

“It’s been a long time…” indeed! The multi-talented Kid Sublime is back! He is one producer of whom you ask “when is his next stuff coming!?”. For instance, the House Heads, the Soul Jocks and the Beat Nerds all seem to love him. Well, the Kid is now back with his sophomore effort, Rappin’ Blak.
The first single from this mainly hip-hop inspired album will is titled “Own World”, on which Kid raps himself.
“Rappin’ Blak” is also the title of one of the tracks that inspired this album. You may have already heard the instrumental version at the Gilles Peterson or Benji B show on BBC Radio. Now this track will appear on the album featuring NYC’s finest MC’s…
…of course “Rappin’ Blak” wouldn’t be complete without some vocal support… So we had Camp Lo, Illa J, Defari, Frank N Dank, and other vocal comrads ready to shine some light on dark times…. This is what happened: Rappin’ Blak. “Yeah, we all go thru a struggle and the struggle finally becomes change.” - Yours truly, Kid Sublime
