PHIL ASHER is back with his PHLASH & FRIENDS project for Archive records and is once again a heavy double A sider!
After the critically acclaimed success of “Political 06” and “Revolution = Solution” Phil shows his songwriting skills with “Look at what’ve done”, a collaboration with top producer Zed Bias wich features the vocals of Fyza. A favourite of Dego, Benji B, Volcov and soon many more it’s bound to become a classic!
The flipside is “Minotaur” a dancefloor smasher already tested by Phil on the Ministry of Sound soundsystem with maximum results. Percussive, heavy yet deep the song features J. Kincaid on keys....another of the FRIENDS of the project.

Spirit Of House, Germany 12.04.08 – Phil Asher present the follow up tot the highly acclaimed “Political ’06” / “Revolution” release which is another slammin’ two track release. “Look at what we’ve done” features vocals of Fyza Saleh with a sultry performance over a deep yet laidback and smooth funk soaking groove that is at the slower end of things (we had to pitch it up quite a bit for mixshow), with an eclectic violin, warm chords and lovely guitar creating a beautiful melodic feeling. In contrast, “Minotaur” is a fierce up0tempo track built a round a relentless trbal groove that melts funky elements with techno, resulting in a peak time favourite. (Michael Fossati)

Phil Asher presents this new double-sided 2nd single from the Phlash & Friend forthcoming LP. The two tracks of this EP are different, but equally hot, ‘Look at what we’ve done’ is awesome, delicate and soulful track with great pads, warm sythn keys, hot guitar and intense female vocals, enriched with some beautiful electric violin parts from Stella Page. ‘Minotaur’ on the flip side is a more percussive and trippin’ affair, built on simple drum patterns and infectious keys.
