Breakhorsepower was voted the winning track of Vinylized 2007, the competition for upcoming dance producers. Phonic Phunk started producing not too long ago, but managed to impress the jury with his "well produced track". The jurors thought the tune to be "definitely worthy of a vinyl release" and are convinced it will find its way to the dance floor.
honic Funk discovered the joys of dj-ing while organising his own parties. He spun his tunes at De Lichtfabriek, Off Corso, Patronaat and Leidens Ontzet. Inspired by prominent artists such as René Amesz, Dominique Eulberg, Matthias Tanzman, Jamie Lewis, Knee Deep, Copywright, Dave Spoon and Mark Knight, Phonic Funk has produced many tracks during a short period of time. His style can be described as "in between minimal, techhouse and mainstream".
